THQ Nordic and Three Fields Entertainment have announced that their racing game, Wreckreation, will be released soon.
Originally revealed in 2022, the game will finally be released on October 28th, 2025, as previewed in its newest trailer.
The game is set in a vast, open world called “MixWorld,” where players can design and create their own courses.
This game feels like a mix of the fast-paced, action-packed driving of Burnout and the creative, free-form track design of games like Trackmania.

It’s still too early to tell if it will live up to the expectations set by its inspirations, but the project has been in development for a while, so we’re optimistic about the final result.
The team at Three Fields Entertainment includes people who previously worked on the popular Burnout series at Criterion Games, bringing a strong background to their work. However, their recent driving games haven’t quite lived up to expectations.
This time around, the game has had a longer development cycle and support from a large publishing company, which means it has a strong potential to be the team’s most successful game so far.
