Ariana Grande is holding space for Barbra Streisand’s praise. 

The EGOT celebrated the “7 Rings” singer and her career following her successful year.

Barbra praised Ariana’s incredible talent in an Instagram post on December 23rd, sharing a photo of the two together. She highlighted Ariana’s unique and beautiful voice, and noted she has many other wonderful qualities.

Praising Ariana Grande’s abilities, Barbra Streisand said, “She’s a talented actress, dancer, and comedian! She’s also a genuinely sweet, kind, and thoughtful person. I’m so proud of you, Ariana, and thank you for collaborating with me on my album.” She finished with a warm, “Big hug, Barbra.”

The actress from Meet the Fockers also complimented Ariana Grande on her recent appearance hosting Saturday Night Live. Barbra Streisand added, “P.S. You were wonderful on Saturday Night Live and looked so pretty, @arianagrande!”

Shocked by Bab’s Instagram post, Ariana took to the comments to fawn over the compliments.

Ariana was completely stunned and overjoyed by a surprise from Barbra. She expressed immense gratitude, saying it was the best gift she could have asked for and meant the world to her, especially coming from Barbra. Ariana shared her deep affection and said she misses Barbra dearly, hoping they can hug soon. She ended with a message of love and appreciation.

Barbra witnessed Ariana Grande’s skills firsthand when Ariana joined her on her recent album, The Secret Life: Partners Volume 2, for their first collaboration, “One Heart, One Voice.”

Ariana Grande is now part of the Meet the Parents series, as she’s been cast in the new fourth movie, Focker-in-Law. It’s currently unknown whether Barbra Streisand, who first appeared in Meet the Fockers in 2004, will be back for the sequel.
