Ariana Grande Joins Meet the Parents Sequel Focker-in-Law | Filming Wraps

Ariana Grande is now involved in a new sequel to the popular comedy series Meet the Parents. Filming has finished on the project, just before she begins promoting her upcoming movie, Wicked: For Good.

Ariana Grande shared a series of photos on Instagram celebrating the wrap of filming for the new Meet the Parents movie, Focker-in-Law. In the caption, she wrote about how much she enjoyed working on the film, saying, “These past few months have been incredibly special. I love my Fockers and the Byrnes family so much! I’m going to miss everyone terribly. See you next November!”

Released in 2000, Meet the Parents stars Robert De Niro as Jack Byrnes and Ben Stiller as Greg Focker. Greg, a nurse, plans to propose to his girlfriend, Pamela (Teri Polo), but first wants to get her parents’ approval over a weekend visit. Unfortunately, Pamela’s father, Jack, immediately clashes with Greg, resulting in a series of uncomfortable and funny situations.

Ariana Grande’s part in the next movie has been mostly a secret. She’s playing a character named Olivia Jones, and a recent Instagram post offered a glimpse into what her role will be like.

Stiller praised Ariana Grande’s work in the new film, describing her role as unique and expressing how much he enjoys collaborating with her.

The fourth Meet the Parents movie, titled Focker-in-Law, is coming out on November 25, 2026. John Hamburg is back to write and direct, and Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Ben Stiller, and Owen Wilson will all return as their beloved characters. The first three movies in the series have earned over $1.13 billion worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing comedy franchises of all time.

Ariana Grande will be starring in the upcoming movie Wicked: For Good, which comes out on November 21st. She’ll play Glinda alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. Additionally, she’s providing the voice for an animated version of Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
