Ariana Grande Just Rocked The Wicked Dress We’ll Be Talking About Forever

Fans of the musical Wicked are incredibly excited for the new movie, Wicked: For Good. One of the things people love about Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s promotion of the film is how well they’ve used the colors pink, green, and black, referencing the show’s themes. After seeing the beautiful live TV special, Wicked: One Wonderful Night, it seemed impossible they could outdo themselves with their outfits. But Ariana Grande just did! I predict her latest dress will be remembered and talked about for years to come.

I’m a big fan of princess ballgowns, and it seems Ariana Grande is too! Besides occasionally referencing The Wizard of Oz, she’s been wearing a lot of full-length gowns lately, like the dramatic, structured designs from Schiaparelli inspired by Glinda the Good Witch. While these dresses have a wonderfully cinematic feel, the one she wore recently was a bit more subtle than some of her other statement gowns. It was still gorgeous, though, with a beautiful ombre effect and a flowing train.

During the One Wonderful Night event, Ariana Grande showcased a delightful pink dress that reminded everyone of the iconic look from the upcoming Wicked movie – the one that took an incredible 225 hours to perfect! The dress looks stunning on film, and for the event, she also wore another eye-catching custom design by Robert Wun, featuring vibrant butterflies that really stood out on screen.

I can’t seem to forget this beautiful, shaded Givenchy dress I saw in Paris – its delicate details were just unforgettable.

The dress even moved Ariana Grande’s mother to tears, as a video of her reaction from a balcony quickly became popular online. In the video, Joan Grande can be heard saying, “You’re making me cry.” With the cast of Wicked in Paris for a recent event, it’s no surprise everyone dressed to impress. Cynthia Erivo also embraced the theme with a striking hat inspired by the character Elphaba.

With the movie Wicked: For Good set to release on November 21, 2025, we’re just a few weeks away! The stars have been showcasing amazing outfits, and it feels like we might have seen the best of the cast’s fashion moments this weekend – and that’s perfectly fine with me.
