Arknights: Endfield gameplay and story details
Arknights: Endfield is a new game connected to the popular tower defence game, Arknights. It expands on the original with a larger, more explorable world, incorporating roleplaying features. Players will also be able to build and automate bases, similar to games like Factorio and Satisfactory.
Battles happen in a fast-paced, but not fully real-time, system that focuses on chaining skills together. You direct a team of four characters, and can switch between them whenever you like. The game eases you into this mechanic so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.
The game is set on Talos-II, a remote alien moon. You play as the administrator of Endfield Industries, a company that has established a base there.
Talos-II is often hit by both huge natural disasters and strange, supernatural events that can drastically and dangerously change the planet.

Indeed, there is an Arknights: Endfield trailer, and you check it out above!
The gameplay trailer showcases the beginning of the game, starting with one character fighting small groups of enemies in a snowy environment. It then quickly moves into more action-packed scenes featuring all four playable characters and defending a base.
Arkknights: Endfield is built with a modified version of the Unity engine, and it looks surprisingly good for a game that’s free to play.
