Publisher Fictions and developer Counterplay Games will release a playable demo of their roguelite, third-person shooter, Armatus, on PC through Steam starting February 23rd. The demo is part of Steam Next Fest: February 2026 Edition and will be available to play until March 2nd.
This demo lets you play as the last surviving member of an ancient warrior order, battling demons in the ruined city of Paris. You’ll get to try out different weapons, upgrades, and powers as you fight terrifying demons determined to destroy you. It’s all about experimenting with different combat styles – fight, fall, learn, and repeat! Finally, you’ll face a powerful demon called The Monument as a major challenge.
The game Armatus is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (through Steam and the Microsoft Store) in 2026.
