This proposal was an absolute ace. 

Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka, currently ranked number one in the world, is engaged! Her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, proposed with a very romantic gesture, surrounded by roses.

The Brazilian entrepreneur proposed to the Belarusian tennis player by kneeling beside a pool that had been decorated with white rose petals.

Around the pool, overflowing arrangements of pink, green, and white flowers were complemented by many white candles that twinkled in the night sky.

Aryna captioned the joint Instagram post, “You & me, forever. 3.3.26.” 

The 27-year-old shared another glimpse of what happened when they proposed. They were casually dressed in flip-flops, light-wash jeans, and a white t-shirt at the time.

In an Instagram Story, Aryna shared that everything had gone as planned, playfully showing off her large engagement ring before switching the camera to take a selfie and commenting on her appearance: “But just look how I look.”

And while Georgios at her side affirmed, “Pretty as f–k,” Aryna responded, “No.”

I just loved her post! She shared a video and wrote, with a laughing emoji, that she had absolutely no clue what was going on that night. It was so relatable and funny!

Even if she wished she’d made a bit more effort with her appearance, the most important thing is that Aryna has found her perfect partner and is committed to spending the rest of her life with them.

She was thrilled to have Georgios with her for the long term. Before the Australian Open in January 2026, Aryna publicly thanked her team, and included a clear message for Georgios as well.
