Highguard recently closed, and players are now starting to receive refunds for their purchases.
The online shooter game Highguard, which was free to play, was shut down after just a few weeks by its developer, Wildlight Entertainment. Now, players are reporting that Sony is refunding the money they spent in the game.
If you bought the battle pass or any items in the game using real money, check your email – Sony may have sent you a message about a possible refund.
It looks like the funds will be refunded to your original payment method, which is typical.
If you recently made a purchase in Highguard, please check your email or account details to see if you’ve received a refund.
Okay, so I just heard some worrying news. It looks like Wildlight Entertainment is taking down their website and everything online. Honestly, it’s a pretty big sign they might be shutting down, which is a bummer if you’re a fan of their games.
The company’s website is down, and they’ve also disappeared from LinkedIn. Although there hasn’t been an official statement about what’s happening, things don’t look good for the studio.
Things aren’t looking great, but thankfully, players who spent money in the game should get what they paid for.
Have you been issued a refund for your Highguard purchases? Tell us in the comments section below.
