I spotted a really cute couple at the Netflix Emmys after-party! They’ve been dating since October 2023, and they looked amazing together at the event, held at Nya Studios in Los Angeles on September 14th. They both chose sleek, all-black outfits – a classic and effortlessly chic look for a romantic night out.
Ashlyn, 39, wore a stylish, loose-fitting blazer and pants, completing the look with casually tousled, wet-looking curls. Soccer star Sophia, 43, turned heads in a pinstripe dress with a low neckline and pointed heels, her long brown hair neatly slicked back.
It’s interesting to note that the former *One Tree Hill* star was at the Netflix event, especially since news came out in August 2024 that she’s working with costars Hilarie Burton and Danneel Ackles to create a sequel to the popular series for the streaming platform.
Sophia, best known for playing Brooke Davis on the popular show, later admitted they were developing the project, but she was upset it became public before they were ready to announce it.
She expressed disappointment that details about the project were revealed before they were ready, saying it was a bit of a letdown. They had hoped to finalize everything and then celebrate. However, she also emphasized that the overall process was amazing.
The actress explained that fans have continued to support the show and keep its memory alive after it ended in 2012. However, she stressed that any plans to bring it back were still very early stages.
We’re starting to plan how we can continue the story and get the original cast back together,” she said. “It feels incredible, and I think fans will be thrilled if it works out.”
