Assassin’s Creed Brand Leadership Team Revealed, Consists of Three Long-Time Veterans

After reorganizing its studios into Creative Houses, Ubisoft has revealed the new leadership team for the Assassin’s Creed franchise at Vantage Studios. Martin Schelling will lead as Brand Head, with Jean Guesdo overseeing content and Francois de Billy focusing on production quality.

Okay, so I was checking out who’s working on this new game, and it’s awesome to see some familiar faces! Schelling’s a big name – he used to be in charge of production at Ubisoft and helped make games like Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Black Flag, Origins, and Valhalla. And Guesdo? He was on the very first Assassin’s Creed way back in 2007, plus he was the creative lead on Black Flag and Origins. Then there’s Billy, who directed production on Origins and Valhalla. Apparently, he and Guesdo have worked super closely on a bunch of the biggest Assassin’s Creed titles, which is really cool to hear.

Over the next few weeks, producer Andree-Anne Boisvert, who oversees projects across the Assassin’s Creed franchise and leads technological innovation, will be joining the team. Also onboard is VP Lionel Hiller, focused on brand strategy and launching new products. Together, this core group of three will be central to shaping the future of Assassin’s Creed, guiding its creative direction and ensuring its continued success.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has revealed that several Assassin’s Creed games are currently in the works, offering both single-player and multiplayer options. While he didn’t name them all, we know about Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, the upcoming major single-player game, and Assassin’s Creed Invictus, which will be a multiplayer experience.
