In September 16th, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will expand for the first time following its launch, introducing the “Claws of Awaji” expansion. This sees Naoe and Yasuke journeying to the island named Awaji. The new content spans over 10 hours and includes fresh armor sets, a unique weapon type – the Bo Stave, with Legendary options available as well.
While Awaji Island appears picturesque, it’s important to note that it harbors potential threats. Located beyond the original game map, it introduces unique environments such as beaches, swamps, and jungles. These settings provide perfect hiding spots for enemies, who can sneak up on you or lay traps. What sets Awaji Island apart is its ability for enemies to masquerade as civilians, making attacks even more unpredictable. (Be aware of potential spoilers)
The duo should prepare to confront a formidable and intimidating group, which can be understood as encountering “novel, distinct adversaries” for battle. We’re eagerly anticipating how this continues the story given the conclusion of _Shadows_. However, do ensure that you complete the primary mission before moving on to the expansion right away.
The video game titled ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ can now be played on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. Take a look at our review of the fundamental version.
