Assassin’s Creed Shadows Reveals New Attack on Titan Crossover Event

Ubisoft is adding a unique crossover to Assassin’s Creed Shadows this week, bringing characters and elements from the popular anime Attack on Titan into the game. Since its release earlier this year, AC Shadows has been regularly updated with new content to keep players interested, and this Attack on Titan collaboration is set to be one of its largest additions yet.

A new event for Assassin’s Creed Shadows inspired by Attack on Titan launches tomorrow, November 25th. It adds a story quest where Naoe and Yasuke must rescue someone from a cult and defeat a powerful enemy. Completing the quest unlocks a new katana and other rewards. Players can also purchase Titan- and Mikasa-themed outfits in the in-game store. The event will only be available for a limited time, running until December 22nd.

Naoe and Yasuke find themselves on a new adventure after a bizarre meeting. They follow rumors of secret, dangerous practices and terrifying changes happening in the darkness. Led by a woman named Ada, they journey into the mysterious Crystal Cave to save her friend from a strange cult. As unsettling experiments take place and a monstrous creature appears, Naoe and Yasuke must trust their instincts to overcome a threat they’ve never encountered before.

In addition to the Attack on Titan collaboration, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will receive a new update featuring a story quest called “A Puzzlement.” This quest will introduce puzzle-based gameplay and expand the story connection between Naoe and Yasuke. The update will also include other improvements, details of which will be revealed in the official patch notes.

You can now play Assassin’s Creed Shadows on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A version for the new Nintendo Switch 2 is also coming out next week on December 2nd.
