ASUS recently announced its updated ZenBook S14 and S16 laptops for 2026. The S14 now features Intel’s newest Core Ultra Series 3 processors, while the S16 runs on AMD Ryzen AI 400 series chips.
The S14 and S16 laptops both feature Copilot+ technology and powerful Neural Processing Units (NPUs) delivering over 50 TOPS of performance. The S14 is particularly notable for being incredibly thin – just 1.1cm – and lightweight at 2.65lbs, making it one of the slimmest and lightest 14-inch laptops available.
The new ASUS ZenBook S14 features Intel Core Ultra 3 series chips, a significant improvement over the processors in previous models. These chips deliver noticeably faster performance and better power efficiency. Combined with the laptop’s large 77Whr battery, you can expect all-day battery life.
The S14 continues to have a fantastic display, with a crisp 2880×1800 resolution and a 16:10 screen shape. It’s among the sharpest you’ll find on a 14-inch laptop, making everything from text to pictures look incredibly clear. Plus, the fast 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and moving windows exceptionally smooth.

The S16 offers a bigger 16-inch screen, but keeps the same sharp 3K resolution, 16:10 screen shape, and smooth 120Hz refresh rate as the original. Both screens are touch-enabled and can get very bright – up to 1100 nits – making HDR content look stunning.
The S16 now boasts a bigger 83Whr battery and uses AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 400 series processors, moving away from Intel. This provides a performance boost similar to the upgrade from the previous S16 model with the AMD Ryzen AI 370 HX. Both the S14 and S16 can be customized with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

This latest version features a newly designed lid with a cleaner ASUS ZenBook logo, making it look similar to the recently released ZenBook A14 and A16 models. It’s a fantastic update to already impressive laptops, now equipped with the newest processors from both Intel and AMD.
ASUS hasn’t revealed how much these new laptops will cost, which is a bit concerning. They’ve already stated that prices for all their products are likely to increase this year due to a shortage of RAM, so the new S14 and S16 models could be pricier than previous versions.
