The cast is lead by:

Atomic plot: Is it based on a true story?

“As a movie lover, I find the series intriguing because it’s inspired by William Langewiesche’s book Atomic Bazaar. This narrative delves into how nuclear weapons have become more accessible and affordable than ever before, making them a coveted commodity even for countries with limited resources or non-state entities. In the story, when the course of Max, a rogue drug smuggler known for his freedom, intersects with that of JJ, a mysterious fugitive, an unexpected bond develops between them.

They find themselves thrust into an unforeseen, perilous operation: smuggling large quantities of highly enriched uranium throughout North Africa and the Middle East. The CIA, MI6, and a vast network of antagonistic elements are hot on their trail, tightening the noose rapidly.

Cassie Elliott, a covert agent from the CIA, believes that Max and JJ might be collaborating with violent extremist groups, as she closely follows them.
