August 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting time for Marvel enthusiasts who have a Disney+ subscription, as two fresh additions to the Marvel universe are planned. Although there isn’t one large-scale release, the double debut should keep some Marvel fans on Disney+ entertained for the entire month of August. Essentially, if you’re a Marvel fan without a Disney+ subscription, consider spending $10 next month or $16 to enjoy these new releases ad-free.
The date you shouldn’t forget if you’re a Marvel fan is August 12th, the day when “Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends” premieres. As the name implies, this production is intended for younger viewers, primarily preschoolers. It’s being developed by both Marvel Studios Animation and Atomic Cartoons, and it will make its debut on Disney Jr. one day earlier, on August 11th, 2025.
The story “Marvel’s Iron Man and his Amazing Companions” is about the thrilling escapades (and mishaps) of three inseparable friends and brilliant minds – Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho. They team up to tackle challenges, big or small, while ensuring the safety of their city. To aid them in their heroic missions, these allies possess their own Iron Suits that enable flight and superhuman strength.
Mark your calendars, fellow Marvel enthusiasts! On August 27th, there are two exciting events happening at once. Firstly, new episodes of Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends will be released, and secondly, the series Eyes of Wakanda will have its premiere all in one go. Produced by Marvel Studios Animation and Proximity Media, this new animated Marvel series is set to become the 15th TV show within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Notably, it will share continuity with several movies from the MCU.
Marvel Animation’s latest action-adventure series, Eyes of Wakanda, chronicles the exploits of the courageous War Dogs from the clandestine organization Hatut Zeraze in Wakanda. As they journey across the globe, these heroes are tasked with completing perilous assignments to recover Vibranium relics that have vanished from history.
The Marvel series available on Disney+ in August 2025 offers a variety of content suitable for different age groups. However, whether they’ll live up to the excitement is yet to be determined.
