Austin Butler is sharing his veldá. 

The former student of Elvis has shared his thoughts on his visit to Puerto Rico for Bad Bunny’s No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency. In doing so, he confessed that indulging in a marijuana-infused snack might have been a bit too much for him to handle.

During an interview with Jimmy Fallon on August 12, Austin admitted that someone had given him something to eat before a performance, which seemed like a smart move initially. However, it turned out they were performing in a smaller venue, resembling a second stage, called a ‘casita.’ At some point, the person he ate with appeared on that very stage.

33-year-old individual acknowledged that even being involved in show business, he didn’t anticipate participating in the “Monaco” performer’s act. In reality, his name is Benito Ocasio.

Suddenly, I found myself on stage with Bad Bunny,” Austin reminisced. “The edible was kicking in, leaving me feeling as if my mind was split between two scenes. One part of me was thinking, ‘I had lunch with Benito earlier today, and I’m just so proud of him.’

Austin went on to say, “I was struck by his reaction, ‘Wow, see how much you’re cherished here.’ This appreciation for Puerto Rican culture, dance, and the vibrant people, left me feeling drawn in.

The Disney alum expressed that they felt like dancing but held back due to an inner voice cautioning against stealing the spotlight. Instead, they only subtly moved their hips and crossed their arms to avoid attracting too much attention; whenever they uncrossed their arms, they felt self-conscious about being noticed excessively.

It’s worth noting that Austin isn’t the only celebrity to have a not-so-great encounter with using marijuana. In fact, Daisy Edgar-Jones had an especially challenging incident when she experimented with it for the first time while visiting Amsterdam.
