In an interview with “Bingeworthy TV”, Brolin shared his desire to be part of the movie. However, with projects like “Dune: Part Two” and “Outer Range” taking up a significant amount of time, it seems unlikely he’ll reprise his role as Cable in the near future. The podcast also asked him about his listing on the IMDb page for “Deadpool & Wolverine”, to which Brolin replied, “I really wanted to be in that movie.” So, there’s a possibility that Brolin could return as Cable in future Deadpool adventures.
