Following many years of entertaining DC comics enthusiasts, the character Rex Mason, also known as Metamorpho, is now set to make his big-screen debut next year in James Gunn’s Superman movie, played by Anthony Carrigan. It seems a new comic book series for Metamorpho is being released to commemorate this event. On Friday, DC officially announced an ongoing Metamorpho series written by Al Ewing with artwork by Steve Lieber, colors by Lee Loughridge and lettering by Ferran Delgado. This new series, titled “Metamorpho: The Element Man,” is part of DC’s All-In initiative and will launch on Christmas Day, December 25th. The first issue will feature a main cover from Steve Lieber, with additional variant covers by Erica Henderson, Ian Bertram, and Steve Beach.
