Over a decade since Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo kicked off a fresh take on Batman comics as part of DC’s New 52, Snyder has now fully committed to an expansive collection titled “Absolute Batman.” During his five-year tenure in the DC Universe, Snyder introduced significant elements such as the Court of Owls, the partnership between Jim Gordon and the Batcop, and the Superheavy Bat-bot Rookie. He also penned intense Joker stories like “Death of the Family” and “Endgame,” and provided a new origin story for The New 52 titled “Zero Year.” Now, Snyder is reimagining the Batman saga again within DC’s new Absolute Universe.

There’s exciting news for Pokémon Go fans! A new event called “Psychic Spectacular” has been announced and it starts on Wednesday, September 18th at 10 a.m., lasting until September 22nd at 8 p.m. local time. This season’s Galar theme continues during this event, and for the first time, we’ll see the introduction of the Hattena evolution line in the game. To evolve Hattena into Hattrem, you’ll need 25 Candies, and then another 100 Candies to transform it into its final form, Hatterene. Keep an eye out for Hattena through Field Research, 7 km Egg Hatches, or in the wild. Additionally, various Pokémon will be appearing in the wild during this event.

2024 at San Diego Comic-Con, Robert Downey Jr., known for his roles in the Avengers and Iron Man series, surprised everyone when he announced his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Instead of reprising his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Downey will be taking on an entirely new character – Doctor Doom. This revelation has sparked enthusiasm among Marvel enthusiasts who are eagerly anticipating the chance to see Downey’s Doctor Doom interact with veteran MCU characters he previously fought alongside as Iron Man, such as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Don Cheadle’s Col. James Rhodes/War Machine.

2024 saw some major titles on the Xbox Game Pass platform, which includes PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. Among these, one game recently received an enhancement through a new DLC release. Just as the base game, this DLC is free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, provided they continue to have access to the base game via the subscription service. The length of time the base game will be available isn’t certain, but currently, it remains accessible with no indication that this may change soon.
