As a dedicated fan of both Marvel and DC comics, I have been eagerly following Glen Powell’s career, hoping to see him bring one of my favorite superheroes to life on the big screen. Having grown up reading these stories and watching their adaptations for years, it feels like a dream come true that an actor as charismatic as Powell might be considered for a role in either universe.
Glen Powell has had an incredibly busy and successful couple of years. He played a significant role in the blockbuster hit “Top Gun: Maverick,” followed by starring alongside Sydney Sweeney in the popular movie, “Anyone But You.” This year alone, he captured everyone’s attention in Richard Linklater’s Netflix film, “Hit Man.” The summer saw him winning hearts again in the movie “Twisters.” Just last month, news broke about a remake of “Backdraft,” with Powell set to star. However, it seems unlikely that we’ll see him joining DC or Marvel any time soon, as he recently dismissed rumors that he has met with those studios during an interview on the podcast “The Discourse” on The Playlist.

As a lifelong music enthusiast and avid fan of trivia games, I can hardly contain my excitement for the return of BBC’s The Hit List this weekend!
