After a significant wait, it seems that the beloved series, “Ranma 1/2,” is finally making its comeback! In case you didn’t know, it’s been over three decades since Rumiko Takahashi’s iconic gender-swapping series graced our television screens. This fall, MAPPA Studios will breathe new life into “Ranma 1/2” on Netflix, and we’ve recently been treated to a tantalizing trailer hinting at its debut.
15 years since “Everybody Hates Chris,” the sitcom based on Chris Rock’s childhood, concluded its four-season stint on The CW, Comedy Central has announced that an adult animated series – a revival of Chris Rock-narrated “Everybody Hates Chris” featuring Tyler James Williams in the lead role – will debut on September 25th at 10pm ET/PT. Rock is serving as executive producer and will voice “Adult Chris,” who narrates the story of his teenage self, voiced by Tim Johnson Jr. from “Saturday” and “Fright Krewe,” taking over Williams’ role, as he recounts growing up as a skinny nerd in a working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn during the late 1980s.
2024 saw the launch of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate” on Nintendo Switch, but its creators, Super Evil Megacorp, have big ambitions for the game’s future. They’ve unveiled a plan that covers everything from new platforms, added features, and downloadable content. This roadmap spans from the remainder of 2024 to 2025, suggesting some elements might take time to materialize. However, the PC version of “Splintered Fate” is due this year, with availability on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Additionally, it will be verified for the Steam Deck.
