Netflix has significantly invested in both animated series and anime, as demonstrated at the recent Netflix Geeked Week event where they unveiled numerous upcoming animated projects. Highlights included presentations for “Devil May Cry,” “Magic The Gathering,” “Sakamoto Days,” “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft,” “Cyberpunk 2077,” “Castlevania Nocturne,” and “Arcane.” Additionally, live-action adaptations for “One Piece” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender” were showcased. However, even with this emphasis on animation, one of Netflix’s major original anime productions is still at risk of being canceled.

In the series titled “Agatha All Along“, Kathryn Hahn’s character, Agatha Harkness, makes a return. However, unlike in WandaVision, her magical abilities have undergone some changes. Agatha was previously causing turmoil within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but Wanda Maximoff managed to subdue her and imprison her within a sitcom world known as Westview. For three years, Agatha remained trapped in her own reality until she managed to break free with some assistance from Rio Vidal and an enigmatic “Teen.” Now, Agatha is out of confinement, but she’s powerless because Wanda drained her magical abilities during their final confrontation in WandaVision. There’s a straightforward method for Agatha to regain her powers, yet she hasn’t been given the chance to do so as of now.

In the seventh season of My Hero Academia, All For One finds himself in a precarious position as the leading heroes are leaving no stone unturned to bring down this formidable villain, often referred to as the demon lord. A punch from the number one hero, Endeavor, would have been fatal for most, but Shigaraki’s mentor was compelled to use his ultimate move. Employing Eri’s “Rewind” ability, All For One has never been more powerful, yet this newfound strength comes at a significant cost. Not only does he heal from wounds by reversing them, but his age also regresses, making him younger with each passing second. Despite these changes, All For One remains a formidable adversary and has demonstrated his prowess by stealing a major hero’s Quirk as proof of his continued threat.

Two of the latest Steam games, recently launched, rank as the fourth and sixth top games of 2024, based on Metacritic ratings. Both these games boast scores in the high 90s, placing them alongside titles like “Astro Bot,” “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth,” “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree,” “Animal Well,” “Balatro,” and “Tekken 8” – some of the highest-rated games this year. Interestingly, these newly released Steam games share a common feature: they are exclusive to PC platforms.
