Now, the series is complete as Donkey Kong Land III has been made accessible on the Game Boy app. However, North American users have missed out on the better version of the game. In Japan, subscribers received the Game Boy Color version of Donkey Kong Land III, but players in North America only got the original Game Boy version, which lacks the vibrant colors that were included in the Japanese release.
