Rebel Ridge Director Jeremy Saulnier Reveals Which Movies Most Inspired the Netflix Film

Through movies like “Blue Ruin”, “Green Room”, and “Hold the Dark”, filmmaker Jeremy Saulnier has earned recognition not just for trying to redefine popular movie genres, but for adding his distinctive touch to these ideas while still paying tribute to the films that inspired him. Just as he did with his previous work, Saulnier drew inspiration from the past when creating his latest film “Rebel Ridge”. One of his main influences for this film was a Sylvester Stallone classic, which eventually spawned a franchise that significantly departed from its original installment. “Rebel Ridge” is scheduled to be available on Netflix starting September 6th.

Originally released in 2016 as a remake of the initial game in the series, this could be an excellent chance for newcomers to the franchise to try out Yakuza Kiwami and enjoy it on a portable device, as there doesn’t appear to be any additional features planned at this time.

It seems Yellowstone fans might be pleasantly surprised, as recent reports suggest that contrary to initial plans, the show isn’t wrapping up. Instead, it appears that Yellowstone Season 6 is being developed, albeit without the return of series lead Kevin Costner.
