Kevin Smith recently unveiled the theatrical preview for his upcoming film titled “The 4:30 Movie.” This R-rated production, set in 1986, is a humorous take on some of the mischievous acts he and his friends engaged in around their old neighborhood movie theater. As part-owner of this historic venue, Smith filmed much of the movie on location and intends to host its premiere there as well. In addition to revealing the film’s poster on Instagram, Smith presented the initial trailer during his Hall H panel at San Diego Comic Con over the weekend.
