Previously, “The Toxic Avenger” remake made its first appearance at Fantastic Fest last year, receiving an abundance of acclaim. Following its initial screening, the film garnered a remarkable 92% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes after 25 reviews, thanks to years spent in development and ultimately finding its lead actor in Peter Dinklage, who is well-known for his role in “Game of Thrones”. Regrettably, it’s been close to a year since the film’s premiere, but there’s yet to be any news about its release date. Recently, ComicBook had an opportunity to talk with Dinklage regarding his new project, “The Thicket“. In this interview, Dinklage shared some less-than-encouraging news regarding the release of “The Toxic Avenger“.

The video game “Concord,” developed by Firewalk Studios for the PlayStation platform, was released officially this past Friday, concluding its early access phase. Simultaneously, another game called “Black Myth Wukong” was also launched this week. Over the last few days, “Concord” has been a hot topic among gamers, albeit for different reasons than “Black Myth Wukong.” The player count for “Concord” on Steam has been disappointingly low since its release, with little sign of improvement in the near future. However, it’s challenging to determine the number of players currently enjoying the game on PlayStation 5.

Currently, Black Myth: Wukong stands as one of the largest games globally, particularly due to its strong connection in China. Within just three days of release, it managed to sell a staggering 10 million units. In essence, it’s among the most successful games of this generation. However, potential players should be aware that the game offers a challenging experience. Spanning approximately 15 to 40 hours, depending on how much side content you explore, the game promises numerous deaths, especially at the hands of one formidable boss within the game.

Some Pokemon fans are speculating that an upcoming TCG Advent Calendar has leaked the identities of Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s starter Pokemon, but that rumor is missing some key context. Copies of the annual Pokemon TCG Advent Calendar are hitting stores this week, and Pokemon fans are already cracking it open to see what’s inside. While the Advent Calendar does contain Pokemon cards, many are included in “fun packs” that contain 3 cards instead of 10 and also uses new wrappers. In this year’s Advent Calendar, there are fun packs featuring cards from the Temporal Forces expansion set. The wrappers for those Temporal Forces packs feature Turtwig, Litten, and Totodile, which some believe is a clue for the upcoming Pokemon Legends: ZA release.
