Dragon Ball Daima Begins Publicity Tour With Jump Carnival Takeover

As a dedicated gamer and longtime fan of Akira Toriyama’s work, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming anime release, Dragon Ball Daima. This highly anticipated series is set to be one of the creator’s last projects, having brought us beloved characters like Son Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the Z-Fighters. With a release date scheduled for October this year, the hype train has officially started with the Daima publicity tour. The Jump Victory Carnival was the first stop on this tour, and boy, did it deliver! Goku made an appearance, but it was the mysterious new villain that left us all on the edge of our seats, eagerly awaiting more information.

Real-Life Biotech Firm Petitions Star Trek’s Federation on Reddit to Change Galactic Law

At Colossal Laboratories and Biosciences, a biotech firm with audacious goals to revive extinct animals such as dodos and wooly mammoths, caused quite a stir on Reddit recently. They presented a proposal to the United Federation of Planets, a fictional governing body in the Star Trek universe, requesting exemptions from gene editing regulations. In the Star Trek storyline, legislation enacted due to past Eugenics Wars makes it nearly impossible for Colossal to repair damaged or incomplete DNA, similar to how Jurassic Park used frogs to fill gaps in dinosaur DNA (you’re on the right track with that analogy). This creative move generated attention for their groundbreaking plans, and Reddit generally responded positively.

Star Wars: The Acolyte Creator Reveals the Fight Club Homage in Season Finale

As I sat there, watching the last few moments of “Star Wars: The Acolyte” unfold on my screen, I couldn’t help but feel a shiver run down my spine as Osha and The Stranger gazed out at the vast expanse of the ocean. Their words hung in the air like a promise, hinting that they were about to embark on a journey together, delving deeper into the dark side of the Force.

Star Wars: The Acolyte Finale Poster Released

The Acolyte, one of Disney’s most original Star Wars properties yet, wrapped up its first season earlier this month, but over on Instagram, the studio has shared a new poster. The image, promoting the show’s finale, depicts Osha embracing the dark side. Marko Manev provided the painted art, which poses Osha holding a half-red, half-blue lightsaber beside her sister Mae. The pair, under the bright and dark sides of an eclipse, are flanked by Vernestra and Qimir. The image reflects the flipped dynamic that the sisters had by the end of the season; while Osha started out as the obvious hero and Mae a villain who was killing Jedi, Qimir turned Osha over the course of the show.
