In their latest release, known as the Foundation Update for Session: Skate Sim, developers primarily aimed at enhancing gameplay smoothness. Key aspects of this update included better fluidity, camera adjustments, and a revamp of physical animations. However, contrary to expectations, the community’s anticipation was dampened due to more problems arising than being solved. The most significant concern was performance issues on the console version, where the game often ran at 30 fps and dipped below it frequently. Unfortunately, since both performance settings and high-quality graphics options were removed with the update, it became impossible to achieve a smooth 60 fps.
