During an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Jennifer Lawrence revealed that Quentin Tarantino had repeatedly expressed interest in working with her. Host Josh Horowitz brought up the role she was offered in The Hateful Eight, which Lawrence now regrets turning down. He also asked about whether Tarantino had considered her for the role of Sharon Tate in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – a part that ultimately went to Margot Robbie. Lawrence responded by saying:

The thriller The Housemaid continues to perform well in theaters, earning almost $200 million around the world. Since its release four weeks ago, it has consistently ranked among the top five films, recently reaching the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. It’s maintained this success despite competition from new movies like Primate and Greenland 2: Migration, and even while Avatar: Fire and Ash remained the top-grossing film.

There’s no shortage of reality TV shows that have damaged the genre’s reputation. Many of these were thankfully brief experiments designed to shock audiences with outlandish and often exploitative ideas. By now, pretty much any terrible dating show or sensationalized documentary you can imagine has likely already been made and aired, and we can be grateful that the most egregious examples are off the air.

The first season of The Night Manager was adapted from John le Carré’s 1993 novel. When it came time to plan a second season, a major challenge arose: there wasn’t a follow-up book to base it on. So, Season 2 ventures into new territory, with the author’s son, Simon Cornwell, guiding the show’s evolution. Fortunately, the team successfully expanded the story, and The Night Manager Season 2 has been as well-received by critics as the first.
