It’s still not completely clear exactly how Pixomondo is shutting down. While Sony is taking on some of Pixomondo’s employees and work, the closure will likely also result in job losses.

Compared to a lot of action-packed anime where villains are all about brute strength and over-the-top appearances, shojo anime tends to focus on more grounded, everyday stories. That realism is what makes Takumi truly unsettling; he’s the kind of person you could actually meet, and that’s what makes him so chilling.
The new TV show will premiere this Christmas, much sooner than the previously announced release date of early 2027.
Director Will Ropp did a great job with this movie. The character of Brian is fascinating and complex – he might seem frustrating at first, but most viewers will find themselves rooting for him by the end. The film has a genuine emotional core, and it’s enhanced by a terrific supporting cast.

Unfortunately, the long wait for The Elder Scrolls 6 continues, meaning we have to find other ways to satisfy our desire for Elder Scrolls adventures. Luckily, over the last ten years, many games inspired by the Elder Scrolls have emerged. These range from large, independent projects to major AAA titles – one of which was a strong contender for RPG of the Year at the 2025 Game Awards, but didn’t win. Hopefully, these games, and others like them, will keep us entertained until The Elder Scrolls 6 is finally released.
