Production on the fifth season of the Hulu series has temporarily stopped following a reported incident between cast member Taylor Frankie Paul and her former partner, Dakota Mortensen, according to a source at TopMob News.
The animated film Hoodwinked!, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in early 2026, is now available to stream on Tubi after being difficult to find on major platforms for years. Released in 2005, the movie is a funny, Rashomonstyle take on the classic “Little Red Riding Hood” story. It follows a police investigation at Granny’s house that reveals a surprising mystery involving Red, a witty Wolf reporter, a somewhat clueless Woodsman, and an adventurous Granny. However, fans won’t be able to stream it for long, as Tubi has already announced that Hoodwinked!* will be removed at the end of the month.
The upcoming live-action series will be directed by Hiroaki Yuasa, famous for his work on Ultraman and several popular dramas. Atsuhiro Tomioka, a highly respected figure in anime known for One Piece, will be the series composer. A first teaser trailer was released on March 14th, giving viewers a glimpse of the story’s world and what it’s about. Tokai TV’s official website also revealed some of the supporting actors, including Shunsuke Kazama, Meari Hayashi, Noriko Nakagoshi, Yumi Adachi, Atsushi Hashimoto, Riku Onishi, Toshio Matsumoto, and Mari Hamada.
