I’m really excited about what Holland’s doing – it feels like a special way to celebrate all of us fans, and they’ve invited creators from all over the world to be a part of it. It’s a bit chaotic though! They’re releasing clips randomly, and we’re all constantly refreshing our feeds to make sure we don’t miss anything. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of that Avengers: Doomsday marketing stunt they pulled last year – it’s definitely a very Marvel kind of move!

Premiering on January 20, 1998, and running for six seasons until May 14, 2003, Dawson’s Creek was a groundbreaking teen drama. Starring James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, and Michelle Williams, the show followed Dawson Leery, a young filmmaker, and his group of friends growing up in the small town of Capeside, Massachusetts. Unlike many teen dramas of the time—such as Beverly Hills, 90210—Dawson’s Creek, originally on The WB, felt more realistic and relatable. Starting as a mid-season replacement, the show quickly gained a dedicated fanbase and remains popular today. However, it will be leaving Tubi at the end of March, so catch it while you can!

It’s a bit odd when you consider that Disney now primarily remakes its animated classics into live-action films. Despite all these releases, some projects have been abandoned for different reasons, and letting one specific film fall by the wayside was a major oversight.

Lighthouse Press is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for a special Deluxe Edition of the comic Tyrant. This edition will collect all four issues of Tyrant, featuring large-format scans of the original artwork directly from the hand-drawn pages. It will also include different versions designed by Jim Rugg, and a brand-new 7,000-word introduction. This is being hailed as the definitive version of Tyrant.
