Disney Cancels 6th Live-Action Remake, Signaling Major Strategy Shift

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has decided not to proceed with the live-action version of the animated classic, The Aristocats. This is the sixth such adaptation that has been either cancelled or put on hold recently. The film was slated to be directed by multi-talented musician and filmmaker Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, who was also planning the music for this project, with a script from Will Gluck and Keith Bunin.

Actor Nhut Le, famously known for his role as Judomaster in the series and the broader DC Universe, had a chat with Russ Milheim from TopMob. They discussed Judomaster’s comeback in the show and the current state of the villain. Le mentioned that since we last watched Judomaster, he has been operating somewhat independently, like a rogue operative. In Episode 3, we find out that Judomaster is drafted into ARGUS, which means he’ll be joining forces with them to take down Peacemaker.

Initially, the game titled Slime Heroes made its debut on Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms (Steam and Microsoft Store) on March 6. Subsequently, a version for Nintendo Switch was released on July 31.
