Netflix Is About To Lose HBO Max’s 3-Season Crime Drama Masterpiece

Okay, fellow movie and TV lovers, heads up! There’s only a week left to catch Warrior on Netflix. It’s a really fantastic show – based on an idea by Bruce Lee himself, and his daughter, Shannon Lee, was heavily involved as a producer. It ran for three seasons, a total of 30 episodes, originally on Cinemax and HBO Max from 2019 to 2023. It’s set in San Francisco during the brutal Tong Wars of the late 1870s, and follows Ah Sahm, an incredible martial artist who comes to America and ends up getting involved with a powerful crime family while battling other gangs in Chinatown. It just landed on Netflix in February 2024, but sadly, it’s leaving the platform on February 16th, so make sure you check it out before it’s gone!

18 Years On, DC’s Most Complex Event Is Still Its Best

The mid to late 2000s were a fascinating time for DC Comics and its readers. Beginning with 2005’s Infinite Crisis, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of Crisis on Infinite Earths, DC started revisiting beloved elements of its comics and the idea of a vast multiverse. It was a really creative period, with top comic book writers and artists reimagining classic characters and teams. Grant Morrison was writing Batman at the time, and had been developing ideas for a huge, epic story (originally called Hypercrisis) for years. This finally came to fruition as Final Crisis, a comic that’s become known as one of the most intricate and often misinterpreted events in comic book history. While it’s definitely a complex story, that complexity is a big part of what makes it so compelling.

Gettysburg Is an Epic Civil War Film Worth the 4-Hour Runtime

As a critic, I have to say Gettysburg really impressed me. Yes, it’s a lengthy film – clocking in at four hours – but it delivers a remarkably genuine portrayal of that pivotal battle and the figures who shaped the Civil War. In a world of often over-the-top war movies, this one feels different; it’s a refreshing exception to the rule.

Quentin Tarantino’s First Major Movie Role In 30 Years Gets First Look As Star Trek Actors Reunite

For over thirty years, films directed by Quentin Tarantino, such as Pulp Fiction and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, have consistently earned high praise and recognition. Though famous as a groundbreaking director, Tarantino has also acted. He often makes brief appearances in his own movies, but his most significant acting role was as Richard Gecko in Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 film, From Dusk till Dawn.

Frieren Stars Weigh In on Fern and Stark Romance in Season 2: “Date Already!”

As a huge fan of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, I know a lot of us have been hoping to see more development between Fern and Stark, and it’s so cool to hear the voice actors feel the same way! Kana Ichinose (Fern’s voice) and Chiaki Kobayashi (Stark’s voice) recently talked about the potential romance between their characters, and honestly, Ichinose perfectly captured what many of us are thinking – she quoted Sein, saying, “Let’s just go out and date already!!!” It’s really exciting to see them acknowledge the fans’ enthusiasm and their own excitement about this blossoming dynamic.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2’s New Trailer Secretly Sets Up a New MCU Vigilante

In the final moments of Born Again season one, Daredevil realizes he needs to build a team to take on Mayor Fisk and his task force designed to stop vigilantes. Fisk has already rounded up many of New York’s heroes and locked them up, including The Punisher. It seems likely that rescuing these captured heroes will be a key focus of season two, and the initial trailer suggests just that.

Every Major MCU Superhero Marvel Are Doing Nothing With

We didn’t include Wanda Maximoff on the list because, to our knowledge, she died at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. While it would be unexpected, she might actually stay that way. However, the other heroes we’ve left out have no indication of returning – and some haven’t been seen in years.
