I think the 2000s and 2010s were the best time for gaming. I was skilled enough to enjoy games, but didn’t have many adult responsibilities yet. It seems a lot of people feel the same way, judging by all the remakes and reboots we’re seeing. Luckily, some older games are still fantastic, and fans can revisit them even if the graphics and gameplay aren’t as modern.
