After a 14-year hiatus, Jurassic World roared back onto the big screen in 2015, becoming both a box office hit and a critical success. Directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the film is a new chapter in the Jurassic Park story, taking place 22 years after the original on Isla Nublar. In this world, a dinosaur theme park called Jurassic World has been built. However, when a dangerous, genetically engineered dinosaur called the Indominus Rex breaks free, everything falls into chaos. The movie became available to stream on Peacock on January 16th, shortly after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom also joined the NBCUniversal streaming service.

Recently, a game called New World: Aeternum was removed from sale on the PlayStation 5. This game, released in 2024 by Amazon Games, was an upgraded version of New World, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that first came out in 2021. Emilia Clarke recently told Seth Meyers she was upset and angry that language coach Paul Peterson criticized her Dothraki accent in Game of Thrones.
