Star Trek’s New TV Show Continues a Major Rotten Tomatoes Trend (Only 1 Series Ever Failed at It)

The new series, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, currently has an 81% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and most critics gave it positive reviews even before the first episode aired. Historically, almost every Star Trek show has been well-received on the site. Series like the original Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine all earned high praise. However, success wasn’t always a given. Star Trek: Enterprise, from 2001 starring Scott Bakula, is the only series in the franchise to receive a “Rotten” score, earning just 56%.
