2026’s Biggest Anime Event Shares First Look

Anime Japan, a major anime convention, will be held from March 28th to 31st. A new promotional image showcases some of the popular anime series that will be featured, and announcements are expected. Previous participants have included well-known studios like Animate, Aniplex, Bandai Namco, Toei Animation, and many others. A special online event called “Kickoff” will stream on January 16th, hosted by voice actors Yuki Kaji and Saori Hayami, offering a sneak peek at what’s in store.

I just finished reading Absolute Batman: Ark M Special #1, and it’s a really cool dive into the origins of Arkham Asylum. It’s a one-shot written by Scott Snyder and Frank Tieri, with art by Joshua Hixson, and the whole story is told through the personal journal of Amadeus Arkham himself – the guy who actually founded the place. It’s basically an alternate history of how Arkham came to be, and it’s fascinating to see it all unfold through his eyes.
