I was chatting with Guillermo del Toro about a potential Bride of Frankenstein movie, and I asked him if I could come back as Elizabeth. He reminded me that, in the story, Victor Frankenstein is actually dead! It’s a bit of a problem, honestly – a big hurdle to overcome if they ever decide to make it happen.
Netflix just announced a huge lineup of movies and shows coming out in 2026, including new seasons from the creators of Stranger Things, and films like Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, Enola Holmes 3, and a new Chronicles of Narnia directed by Greta Gerwig. But hidden within the announcement is disappointing news for sci-fi fans: Netflix has very few science fiction movies planned for release next year.
