He said he’s been flooded with emotional calls from cast members who were moved to tears by how the show ends. Ezra himself hasn’t read the final script yet, but reports suggest it’s a powerfully moving and beautiful conclusion. All American follows a talented high school football player from South Central Los Angeles as he navigates life and football after being recruited to play for a school in Beverly Hills, all while pursuing his dream of making it to the NFL.

The star of Severance is definitely the biggest name in the cast, and the teaser suggests the story will center around his character. However, it’s hard to say how large his role actually is, as the studio, Neon, seems to be following a current trend of keeping details under wraps in their marketing.
