It feels like more and more good TV shows are being cancelled too soon, leaving fans disappointed. The rise of streaming services has really changed television, and it seems like shows are getting cancelled more often now than in the past. 2025 was another year where several promising shows were cut short, despite having plenty of story left to tell.
I’ve been listening to this incredible radio drama for years, and it still amazes me that it began all the way back on January 1st, 1951! It’s truly something special – it’s officially recognized as the longest-running daily radio serial ever, having broadcast over 20,000 episodes. It’s a real piece of history, and I’m a huge fan.

And naturally, it’s the whales. Always the whales. The little guys were buying, which is… endearing, I guess? A little pathetic, honestly. But the big guys? Selling! They pushed it up, took their profits and then bailed. Classic. You’d think they’d have some loyalty. Some communal spirit!
I recently saw an interview with George Clooney where he was reminiscing about his career, and it was so fun! They started with ‘Batman & Robin,’ and honestly, it’s great to see he can finally laugh about it – especially after all these years. He even joked about that Batsuit and the, uh, distinctive nipples! It’s cool to see him in such a playful mood about a movie that’s become a bit of a cult classic.
It’s particularly disappointing that so many excellent games are being ignored. These titles weren’t just good within their genres – they were innovative, playing with new ideas while still being respectful of players’ time. Dedicated fans followed their development closely and loved them, but the wider gaming world seems to have missed them entirely. It’s surprising, considering all three were released this year and deserve more attention.
