Several versions of Nosferatu have been made, and most have been critically acclaimed. The newest remake, released in 2024 and directed by Robert Eggers, follows this trend. This loose adaptation of Dracula reimagines the classic 1922 German horror film, and stars Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, and Bill Skarsgård.

We’re not focusing on typical awards-season movies, as those usually don’t gain much attention until after the Oscars and Golden Globes. Instead, we’re highlighting seven films from 2025 that have strong potential with fans but didn’t quite reach a wider audience.

I’m so excited about the new Avatar Studios movie! From what The Hollywood Reporter is saying, it’s going to center around Aang discovering this incredible ancient power – something that could actually save the Air Nomads from disappearing forever. Apparently, he and his friends will be racing around the world to find it, because if it falls into the wrong hands, everything they fought for could be undone. We don’t know what this power is yet, which is super intriguing, but it definitely gives us a good idea of what an older Aang will be up to when the movie comes out next year!

This one-shot comic doesn’t try to revolutionize the medium, and it delivers pretty much what you’d anticipate, particularly if you read this summer’s Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes, Rivals #1. However, it effectively continues the story started in that special, and it’s genuinely enjoyable. It features a sweet story, appearances from popular characters, a few awkward jokes, and lots of fantastic artwork, especially with all the included pin-ups. It’s a fun read and definitely worth your time.

Manga in 2025 is consistently excellent, with both long-running series and newer titles delivering fantastic stories. Several ongoing series stand out as particularly strong, and we hope they maintain this high quality for many years to come.

Released in 1988, Mega Man 2 was Capcom’s attempt to build Mega Man into a lasting franchise after the initial game on the NES. It refined the gameplay established in the first Mega Man, creating a more enjoyable platforming experience. 2026 looks like it’s going to be an amazing year for RPG fans. The games coming out aren’t just grander in scope; they’re really emphasizing unique characters, deep immersion, and gameplay systems that truly matter. Developers are clearly focused on what makes RPGs great – things like skillful combat and choices that impact the story. It’s a genuinely thrilling time for anyone who loves role-playing games.
