Netflix’s Cancelled DC Comics Series Returns, but Its Rotten Tomatoes Score Is Lower
The second season of “The Sandman,” which debuted on July 3rd, currently holds a 75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While some critics found the storyline of Season 2 uncertain at times, they generally praised Tom Sturridge’s performance as Dream. However, this score is significantly lower than the 88% “Fresh” rating that Season 1 received on Rotten Tomatoes, missing the mark for a “Certified Fresh” badge. Interestingly, fans seem to share this critical view, as the audience score on the Popcornmeter stands at just 70%.
