Atari Announces Agreement to Become 82 Percent Shareholder in Thunderful Group

I’m excited to share that while the deal hasn’t been fully finalized just yet, it’s still in the process of getting approval from Thunderful’s shareholders. An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) has been scheduled for August 28 to discuss this approval. Interestingly, the Thunderful Group board of directors, along with two of its major shareholders, Owe Bergsten and Brjann Sigurgeirsson, have all expressed their support for this transaction.

Horizon Series Crosses 38 Million Units Sold

The sales figure has noticeably increased compared to the 32.7 million sales recorded in May 2023. Unfortunately, Sony did not disclose the individual sales figures for Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West, and Call of the Mountain. Additionally, it remains unclear whether these numbers encompass the sales of the spin-off game LEGO Horizon Adventures as well.

At the San Diego Comic-Con 2025 panel for Hellaverse, voice actor Sam Haft offered a delightful surprise to fans of “Hazbin Hotel”.
