The Xbox 360 version of the game was playable on newer Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles with improved performance and graphics thanks to Microsoft’s compatibility features. This updated version replaces the older one, and Rockstar Games initially offered it as a free upgrade. Unfortunately, the upgrade process didn’t work correctly for about a week.

Ironically, this character, also named Henry, was meant to be a ‘good guy,’ but Liotta’s intense performance made him seem truly frightening. According to Bloomberg, Netflix explored the possibility of acquiring the entire Disney company. This potential deal would have been even larger than the current one making headlines, giving Netflix ownership of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, Disney’s vast collection of classic films spanning a century, properties from 20th Century Studios, and everything else – including Disney+, Disney’s theme parks, and its cruise line.
Felix Wagner, publishing producer at ININ Games, stated that “R-Type is a hugely important game, and we’re incredibly proud to have partnered with Tozai to bring these classic games back to life in a big way.” He added that “Dimensions III is our biggest restoration and update project so far, designed for both dedicated fans and players experiencing R-Type for the very first time.”
