New Gundam Wing Merch Will Let You “Self-Destruct” Your Mech

Japan often celebrates popular anime series with a special raffle system called “Ichiban Juji,” where fans can win exclusive merchandise. To mark the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, the raffle is offering a variety of items from the show. These include figures of the main character, Heero Yuy, as well as models of the iconic mechs. There’s even a fun item: a pen designed to look like the detonator that destroyed one of the series’ biggest robots! You can see a picture of the Gundam Wing pen below. The merchandise will be available in Japan starting January 20th.

Netflix is planning a movie based on the upcoming video game Kingmakers, developed by Redemption Road Games and published by tinyBuild. Interestingly, the game was delayed just before it was supposed to launch. The script is being written by Christopher MacBride, and Netflix worked with 21 Laps and Story Kitchen to secure the rights before the game was even released.
