The 18-second video offers a first look at the new special, showing Kermit preparing for his return to the stage – he’s seen turning on the lights and making a drink in a mug with his name on it. A piano version of his famous song, Rainbow Connection, plays in the background, likely to evoke fond memories. While many fans enjoyed the music, some were hoping to hear the classic Muppet Show theme song instead.
