The Testament Of Ann Lee: Amanda Seyfried’s Acclaimed Musical Drama Is Keeping History Alive

I was really blown away by The Testament of Ann Lee! Amanda Seyfried is incredible in the lead role, and director Robert Eggers has brought together a fantastic cast – Lewis Pullman plays her brother William, and you’ll also recognize Christopher Abbott as her husband, Abraham. Thomasin McKenzie, Stacy Martin, and Tim Blake Nelson are all in it too. It premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and everyone is raving about it, especially Seyfried’s performance – it’s so intense and feels really real. Plus, the movie features some beautiful musical numbers! Right now, it has a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so I’m really excited for everyone to see it.

The DCU Has Already Skipped The Villain Problem That Doomed 2011’s Green Lantern Movie

As a huge DC fan, it’s clear to me that the mixed reaction to the Green Lantern movie really held back those characters for a long time, and honestly, it impacted DC’s live-action plans for the whole group. But it seems like the folks behind the new DCU are paying attention to what didn’t work with Green Lantern and are trying a different approach this time around. They definitely seem to have learned from past mistakes when it comes to how they’re presenting these heroes and their stories.

Pluribus’ Shock Ending Was Only Added To The Sci-Fi Show Last Minute

As the first season of Pluribus ended, Carol found herself in a domestic situation with Zosia, one of the ‘Others,’ and they embarked on a two-week trip around the world. This happened after Manousos, another person immune to the condition affecting most of humanity, experimented on an Other in an attempt to reverse it. However, when Zosia revealed the Others had found a way to force Carol into their collective consciousness against her will, Carol decided to rejoin the human side. She returned to Albuquerque and teamed up with Manousos to try and save the world, but with a shocking development: she’d acquired a nuclear bomb from the Others earlier in the season. The season ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, leaving viewers wondering what Carol’s next move would be and how far she’d go to protect humanity. Interestingly, the show’s creators only decided to include the nuclear bomb plotline while they were actually filming the episode.
