Okay, so I’ve been checking out Towerborne, the new game from the team behind The Banner Saga. It’s a really cool mix of beat-’em-up action and RPG stuff. Basically, you play as an Ace, which is this immortal warrior protecting this huge tower called the Belfry from all sorts of monsters. The combat is super fast and feels really good, and there’s a ton of stuff you can do to upgrade your gear, learn new abilities, and customize your character’s build. It really encourages you to try out different things and find what works best for you. Plus, it’s built for co-op, so you can team up with friends!
Currently, Insomniac Games hasn’t officially announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. They’ve been focused on Marvel’s Wolverine, which is planned for release in late 2026. However, despite the lack of confirmation, rumors suggest they are also working on a third Spider-Man game to conclude the trilogy. It’s taking longer than many fans expected, especially since Insomniac usually releases these games every two to three years. It now seems likely that Spider-Man 3 won’t be available until the next PlayStation console is released.
2026 looks like a great year for fantasy movies! We can expect both big sequels in established franchises and fresh, new stories – including adaptations of popular books and completely original ideas. It’s shaping up to be an exciting time for fans of the genre.

The first trailers for Avengers: Doomsday are out, and fans are already making big guesses about the plot, carefully examining every little detail. It’s clear the trailers are working – they’ve created a lot of excitement for the movie, even though it’s still months away from release. The upcoming break between seasons will be the longest since the show’s revival, but there are understandable reasons for it. While a new season of the main show isn’t arriving until later, UK audiences recently enjoyed a new Doctor Who spinoff, The War Between the Land and the Sea, in December 2025. This spinoff, created and co-written by Russell T Davies, required a significant amount of his time and the BBC’s resources (it will be available internationally on Disney+ in 2026). Beyond that, the show is undergoing some big changes, and its long-term direction is still being decided.
