This year, several Cartoon Network series like “The Powerpuff Girls” and “New Looney Tunes,” along with many others, have ended their run on HBO Max because their licenses expired. Some might find a new home on platforms such as Netflix or Hulu, but there’s a possibility that others won’t be available on any streaming service. Fortunately, the popular Cartoon Network show “Adventure Time” has been given an extension on HBO Max, with its expiration date moved from October 2021 to October 2026. Additionally, fan-favorite shows from Adult Swim, such as “Harvey Birdman,” “Moral Orel,” and “Black Dynamite,” have also been renewed and will continue airing until September 2023.
